As most of you know, the story of my fiancè and I went internationally viral in March 2021 after he proposed on national TV (not realising himself) after I announced my retirement as a professional soccer player for Melbourne City and the Matildas after Matt was re-diagnosed with (this time) Stage 3 Brain Cancer.

The Mark Hughes Foundation is close to our heart and all that it stands for. Matt just finished his 42 weeks of radiation and chemo treatment and is now moving to scans/check ups ever 3 months. This is a lifetime fight for us, but we are up to the task and Matt is my absolute world.

I anwill always be a part of the MHF Trek in any way I possibly can and so can you. 1 person is diagnosed with brain cancer every 5 hours, it is the most complex cancer and yet the most under-studied and receives less than 5% of government funding.

All proceeds of this trek go directly to the MHF in finding better treatment, outcomes, MHF brain cancer nurses and ultimately A CURE!
